The May fair in Groningen has been a well known family activity for many years in Groningen.
This fair takes place at three locations in the city, including the Grote Markt, the Vismarkt and the Ossenmarkt.

The nostalgic fair is located on the Ossenmarkt and is great fun with younger children.
There is an old-fashioned toss-up whirligig, a mini Ferris wheel, the boat mill, the Cakewalk, the Spin, truly the entertainment of the past. The fares are also nostalgic. The attractions are also usually reasonably priced, around two euros.

You can buy delicious sweets and ice cream there, if the weather cooperates!

On the Vismarkt the large Ferris wheel is usually located just in front of the Korenbeurs.

In addition, there are many grabbing machines and a haunted house. The Grote Markt always had the more daring attractions. Such as a roller coaster and other attractions that I wouldn't dare go in myself.

If you have had one too many drinks, there are sometimes student clubs that venture into it.
